Writer and Editor
Carol Sloan has been helping with writing and editing for various projects at Impact Finance Center since 2019. While her primary task is assisting with Impact Finance Center’s weekly newsletter email, she also steps up to help with other writing and editing as needed. Carol’s previous position at an environmental think tank in Montana was the start of a connection with Impact Finance Center’s founder Stephanie Gripne. Carol is thrilled to be part of an organization led by Stephanie and her team, knowing their passion for the environment. She has worked in various areas of communications, including newspapers, magazines, nonprofits, and state government. She loves the challenge of turning complicated, technical information into a captivating, simple story. Carol earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Kent State University.
