About the Main Street Lender Investor Club:
IFC has identified, educated, and activated more than 80 new impact investors over the last several years through our various education offerings, CO Impact Days, Who’s Who in Financial Innovation & Impact Investing, Fellowships, and more. Several of those activated have gone on to invest in Colorado CDFIs and Nonprofit Lenders. Multiple Colorado CDFIs and Nonprofit Lenders are formally or informally working with IFC to secure new investors. In response to a growing number of requests, IFC is piloting a Colorado Main Street Lender Investor Club with the primary goal of providing education and investment opportunities that activate more dollars to provide both investor and community value.
After the overwhelming response to our pilot Investor Club meeting on May 27, we decided to convene quarterly CDFI and Nonprofit Lender Investor Club meetings with the goal of growing the Club to 100 investors (e.g., individuals, private foundations, community foundations, endowments, family offices, corporations, banks, and life insurance companies) by 2025.
