Founded in 1986, PeaceWorks is a confidential resource to survivors of sexual assault, sex trafficking, and relationship violence: intimate partner violence and abuse, teen dating violence, and stalking. Inclusive services include: short-term shelter; 24/7 crisis response; residential, non-residential, and mobile trauma-informed advocacy; integrative wellness, and community awareness. PeaceWorks is 1 of 10 dual programs in CO servicing both sexual assault and relationship violence survivors, and 1 of 4 shelters in the state that allows pets to be sheltered with their families. PeaceWorks serves the central mountain counties of Park, Jefferson, and Clear Creek, moving clients forward, out of crisis – towards self-sufficiency and wellbeing.
