What if one percent of private wealth could help communities finance their own futures?
Impact Days began in Colorado with Laying the Groundwork for a National Impact Investing Marketplace, proving that communities can organize local opportunities, educate aligned investors, and move capital toward the places and people they care about.
We discover local opportunities. We educate investors. We activate capital.
By bringing together individuals, foundations, families, corporations, donor-advised fund holders, family offices, advisors, institutions, entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and community leaders, Impact Days creates the trusted infrastructure communities need to move private wealth into public purpose.
What began in Colorado is now scaling through Alaska, Massachusetts, and other states as the bridge to 1% for Communities: a national effort to help communities mobilize one percent of private wealth for the places, people, and futures they care about.

Strong communities. Disconnected capital.
Across the country, communities are filled with strong businesses, community-rooted projects, nonprofits, cooperatives, housing initiatives, and innovative funds ready to grow. At the same time, trillions of dollars in private wealth remain disconnected from local opportunity.
Many investors, foundations, families, corporations, and institutions want to align more of their capital with their values and communities. What has often been missing is the trusted infrastructure to make that possible: relationships, visible pathways, curated opportunities, and the confidence to act.
Investors face:
- Limited visibility into local opportunities
- Few trusted peer networks
- Unclear pathways from traditional investing to impact investing
- Isolation from aligned investors and community leaders
Communities face:
- Limited access to aligned capital
- Promising opportunities that go unfunded or underfunded
- Few pathways to trusted investors
- Fragmented investment ecosystems
Impact Days is the bridge.
Impact Days helps communities connect local opportunities, investor education, trusted relationships, and capital pathways so private wealth can move toward local priorities and long-term community wellbeing.
It turns disconnected capital and under-resourced opportunities into a coordinated ecosystem for learning, connection, and investment.
Discover Opportunities
Impact Days discovers individuals, foundations, families, corporations, and community leaders with the capacity to become aligned investors.
We also surface curated local opportunities across businesses, nonprofits, funds, cooperatives, housing, workforce, climate, and community-rooted initiatives.
Educate Through Cohorts and Peer Learning
You learn through cohort-based experiences, peer networks, practical curriculum, expert guidance, and real world examples.
The goal is not to teach you how investing works. It is to help you align more of their capital with their values, communities, and long-term vision.
Activate Capital
Impact Days transforms learning and relationships into coordinated action.
You gain the confidence, language, infrastructure, and trusted relationships needed to begin moving capital into the places and opportunities they care about most.
Colorado proved what becomes possible
Colorado launched Impact Days to test a bold idea:
Could a community discover high-quality local opportunities, activate aligned investors, and move $100 million into one state through values-aligned investing?
The answer was yes.
In just three and a half years, Colorado sourced more than 600 opportunities, activated more than 155 investors, and helped deploy more than $300 million into local communities. Colorado did not just move capital. It proved that local opportunities, trusted education, and aligned investors can come together to build a new kind of community investment marketplace.
Impact Days, state by state and community by community.
The model is expanding. Each Impact Days initiative is tailored to the people, opportunities, culture, and capital needs of its place.

CO Impact Days became the blueprint for a national model of aligned local investing.
AK Impact Days
Alaska foundations and local leaders brought the model home and demonstrated what becomes possible when communities organize local capital around local opportunity.
AK Impact Days helped strengthen relationships, surface investable opportunities, and activate a growing Alaska investment ecosystem.
MA Impact Days
[UPCOMING — NOV 10–11, 2026]
Supported by the Barr Foundation and Gilson Family Foundation, MA Impact Days will bring together investors, foundations, family offices, cohort leaders, entrepreneurs, and community builders to discover opportunities, learn together, connect through cohorts, and invest in Massachusetts communities.
“Just a quick note to congratulate you on CO Impact Days. You have started a movement here and I was absolutely blown away by the quality of social ventures that I saw. You certainly know what the impact investing scene needs and I hope that what you’ve started in Colorado can replicate quickly in other states and beyond!”

“It’s super rare to get world-class portfolio advice from someone who doesn’t have their hand in your pocket. It’s rarer to get a whole new framework for thinking about donations and philanthropic work. Rarest is all is a combination of clear next steps and challenge to take action. Impact Finance Center delivers a trifecta.”

“Throughout our lives, our days are peppered with experiences that shape our minds, hearts, and paths. It is often hard to tell how long we will feel the effects of those events. Sometimes, however, we feel to our core that we had the good fortune to be part of an experience that will definitely affect how we proceed tomorrow if not for the rest of our lives.”
