Oikocredit US

Oikocredit US is the nonprofit affiliate of Oikocredit International, a 45-year-old worldwide cooperative and impact investor that provides capital to microfinance institutions, cooperatives, fair trade organizations, and small to medium enterprises. We seek a triple bottom line: modest financial return, and strong environmental and social impact.

RE-volv

For 10 years, RE-volv, has been fighting climate change by accelerating the adoption of clean energy in communities across the country and educating community members around the benefits of renewables. Specifically, we finance solar energy for community-serving nonprofits that would not otherwise be able to go solar. Although we started as a crowdfunding organization, RE-volv has recently gone through a significant period of growth. In 2020 alone, with working capital from an impact investor, we were able to deploy nearly $8M of solar projects for nonprofits in disadvantaged communities across the country that otherwise wouldn’t have access to capital.

Southern Capital Project

Southern Capital Project is led by and created for women, on a mission to close the gender wealth gap by ensuring women in the South have equitable opportunities to build wealth. We believe in the power of women to build wealth for themselves, their families, and their communities. We envision an economy rooted in equity and opportunity, where women have access to the resources they need to fully participate, to lead, and to thrive. Our Southern Women’s Fund provides flexible, appropriate capital to women entrepreneurs in the South.

TechSoup

TechSoup connects nonprofit organizations around the world to the technology, resources, and guidance they need to achieve their missions. These nonprofit organizations are at the frontlines of addressing the world’s most pressing problems, yet many of them are woefully under-resourced in an increasingly digital world. Each year, we connect nonprofit organizations with billions of dollars in value of donated and discounted technology.

Trendlines Colorado

Trendlines was formed in 2019 with a mission to create cycles of opportunity and end cycles of poverty for individuals who have not had wins with the current employment system. The Trendlines Team collaborates with workforce training organizations, from nonprofits to four-year colleges, and employers to strengthen and improve the education to employment pipeline: getting underrepresented populations from training to a livable wage.

Trendsetters Network (Imagine Forward Campaign)

Began as a volunteer alliance of professional associations, colleges and NYC agencies providing career development in STEM, Digital Arts, Green Construction to disadvantaged young people. Following the impact of Sandy on NYC, we shifted our focus to climate change and the mitigation activities that could change conditions in vulnerable communities. After 5 years of research, clarifying the mission, designing a national program, building partnerships, et al we will be launching on Constitution Day with a multi-week virtual conference on Democracy, Civics, & Leadership, followed by The Public Imagination that introduces the Imagine Forward campaign and a Step-into-the-Future year-long conference series on mitigation across all sectors.
