An Impact Finance Center Senior Advisor since 2015, Tony has worked for more than 25 years at the intersections of meaningful giving and community results. In his work for Impact Finance Center, he draws from experience in family dynamics, philanthropic advising, community change initiatives, and work with a variety of philanthropic vehicles and strategies. As an independent consultant, he helps donors, foundations, and their advisors answer questions about philanthropic purpose, use of resources, action planning, and learning. Tony previously was executive director of the Roy A. Hunt Foundation, a multi-generation family foundation, and spent twelve years in multiple roles at the Central Indiana Community Foundation.

Tony is a peer reviewer for The Foundation Review, board member of the National Network of Consultants to Grantmakers, and senior consultant for the National Center for Family Philanthropy and Ekstrom Alley Clontz & Associates. He earned a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy certification from The American College of Financial Services, M.A. from Butler University, and a B.A. from Manchester College.
